DREZ: DUALITY

'Duality' represents Drez's inaugural light sculpture, building on previous examinations of colour dynamics akin to the 2023 showcase 'Gestalt Chroma'. The artwork is crafted from transparent resin and uses light to create an interactive experience. The central illumination refracts through the sculpture while the solid resin distorts its surroundings, and the glossy finish reflects its environment.
'Duality' explores colour synergy, juxtaposing primary hues to create a tertiary colour. A fusion of blue and red create a purple aura as example. Phase prompts introspection while doubling as ambient lighting, catering to a broader demographic and embodying Drez’s ethos of inclusivity.
