I pass this sign every time I leave my property; Hoysted TK. There’s a closed gate to that track, but I have ventured through it. It's not the sign that captures my imagination, but a fallen tree which has created a sculptural form. The branches are gripped together holding it in place. Through all weather conditions, that form holds true. As I look at this sculpture, my eye is led to the bushland around it. As always, my imagination creates images evoked through shadows and elemental forms, a picture of life and death evolves.
